Often referred to as Springfield, Illinois' best south side secret, Lake Pointe Subdivision is nestled at the city’s boundary, a short walk from Lake Springfield and near the academic center of the city. Close to the University of Illinois Springfield and Lincoln Land Community College, the subdivision has quick access to I-55 and I-72 and is just a few minutes from downtown.

YOUR ANNUAL ASSESSMENT OF $150 WILL BE DUE ON NOVEMBER 1, 2025. DUES NOTICES AND INFORMATION WILL BE MAILED OUT IN MID SEPTEMBER.

BE KIND TO OUR WALKERS! Lake Pointe has many residents who enjoy walking throughout our beautiful neighborhood; please be cognizant of that fact and keep trees and plants trimmed back from sidewalk areas, and make sure there are no obstacles on the walkways such as cars, recycling bins, or garbage cans. ​

Reminder that any riprap abutting the pond behind a property is the responsibility of the homeowner; please keep it free of weeds and debris to reduce algae growth and keep the pond looking beautiful.

Please keep in mind that the Covenants and Bylaws require all home exteriors to be free of mold and mildew. Kindly keep your siding clean to prevent spreading and to ensure our neighborhood remains looking good!

From the east - using US 36/72:
On US 36/72 heading west/south, continue to the intersection with I-55, choose I-55 South, following it to Toronto Road exit (#90). Turn left (east) at top of exit ramp, proceed through 2 traffic signals; at 3rd signal, turn right (south) onto North Cotton Hill Road. Lake Pointe Subdivision is on the left.

From the north - using I-55:
On I-55 headed south, leave the interstate at the exit (#90) for Toronto Road. Turn left (east) at top of exit ramp, proceed through 2 traffic signals; at 3rd signal, turn right (south) onto North Cotton Hill Road. Lake Pointe Subdivision is on the left.

From the west - using US 36/72:
